[Coehd] Welcome New Assistant Director of Assessment and Accountability in OPPP, Dr. Jessica McConnell!

Hello, We would like to welcome and introduce Dr. Jessica McConnell, new Assistant Director of Assessment and Accountability in OPPP, effective November 1, 2024. [cid:image001.jpg@01DB2C7D.000A22C0] Dr. McConnell brings a wealth of quantitative expertise as well as extensive experience as an educator to the COEHD’s Office of Professional Preparation and Partnerships. Dr. McConnell is well-versed in data analysis and visualization platforms, including Excel, SPSS, R, and Power BI. She also holds multiple Texas teaching certifications. As an alumna of the Ph.D. program in Culture, Literacy and Language and an educator at K-12, community college, and university levels, her unique perspective combines her teaching experience with her knowledge of data analysis. We look forward to her collaboration with faculty, staff, and students in discussion of assessment requirements, results and implications across all of our certification programs in this important role.
