A little about Frances, she’s a native of El Paso, TX, and holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She began her career in local media covering El Paso news along the border before moving to Washington DC. There, she worked for CNN DC, covering everything from the Obama re-election, immigration, Hurricane Sandy, the Sandy Hook and Aurora, CO theater shootings, and more. In 2015, she transitioned to working for a local nonprofit doing humanitarian work in Palestine and the West Bank before moving back to Texas. She recently did communication work for the Cibolo Center for Conservation in Boerne. She lives in Boerne with her husband, two dogs, and one cat.  College of Education and Human Development Communications Reference Guide This reference guide will help create a more streamlined approach for your communications needs.
