Greetings Colleagues, With this e-blast, I’m highlighting two opportunities from the US Department of Education Institute for Education Sciences—the Transformative Research Program and the Using Longitudinal Data to Support State Education Policymaking. Also, I’ve included a reminder to take the survey for the upcoming Grant Development Bootcamp as well as a calendar of current funding opportunities. Institute for Education Sciences, Transformative Research Program Deadline August 17, 2023 https://ies.ed.gov/funding/pdf/2024_84305T.pdf Through the Transformative Research program<https://ies.ed.gov/ncer/projects/program.asp?ProgID=2115&u...;, IES seeks to support innovative research that has the potential to make dramatic advances towards solving seemingly intractable problems and challenges in the education field and/or to accelerate the pace of conducting education research to facilitate major breakthroughs. Data from other sources may also be included to help address the state agency’s research questions. For FY 2024, the program will support research to identify and reduce opportunity and achievement gaps for learners from prekindergarten through adult education. State agencies may apply for these grants on their own or in collaboration with other organizations.
