The City of San Antonio is seeking 1-2 partners to collaborate on a proposal to the NSF CIVIC solicitation (https://nsfcivicinnovation.org/<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.out...;). The program has two tracks with a stage one deadline of May 5. Track A: Living in a changing climate: pre-disaster action around adaptation, resilience, and mitigation Track B: Bridging the gap between essential resources and services & community needs Preference will be given to those who are partnering with community-based organizations, other organizations, and SwRI, in addition to the city. Project ideas will be evaluated for their fit with NSF’s priorities and the needs of our partners as well as the review criteria published in the NSF solicitation. The CIVIC Innovation Challenge is a multi-agency, federal government research and action competition that aims to fund ready-to-implement, research-based pilot projects that have the potential for scalable, sustainable, and transferable impact on community-identified priorities.
