18 March 2016, Dear Colleagues, Doctoral and Masters Students attending AERA in Washington, D.C., It is a pleasure to invite you to our 5th Annual COEHD, UTSA Gathering at the AERA's 100th Anniversary Conference (1916 to 2016) to be held April 8-12, 2016, in Washington, D.C. This year's event of toasting to our UTSA presenters and celebrating of this 100th AERA year will take place on April 8th, Friday at 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Marriott Hotel. Please mark your personal calendars and join us! You are welcome to bring colleagues, family, and friends. It is always a joy to reunite away from home over a beverage and appetizer! The specific location in the Marriott will be announced early this week. We simply would like you to include this gathering in your AERA Conference planning, and to make a point of joining in on the festivities. Your research presentation at AERA is much appreciated as it raises the stature of our University and College. If you are not presenting, this is an opportunity to participate in dialogues, learn about new educational research directions, and acquire new knowledge that will advance your research and thinking. AERA will be held in our beautiful city of San Antonio next year. Planning for next year can begin at this year's meeting! All best wishes for a delightful meeting and safe trip to Washington, D.C.
