The UTSA Student Volunteer of the Year Award was created to honor an outstanding student for their time, effort and personal commitment to volunteerism and enhancing civic life in their community. Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio, in good standing (financial, discipline, academic, etc) with the university, and have at least a 2.75 overall cumulative GPA. Service documented on this application must be unpaid. Students who are or have been associated with national service programs are eligible to apply. The application must be submitted by Friday, March 4, 2016 by 5:00pm to be considered. Applicants have the option to submit their application for consideration for the Sandra Cisneros "Service to Community" Endowed Scholarship.
