She will be transitioning into her new role August 1st. In her time with COEHD, she has been instrumental in acquiring significant funds and gifts for the college, which include a donation from Raise Your Hand Texas, a grant that established the Urban Education Institute. This was the largest gift in COEHD history. Also to her credit, she established the COEHD Advisory Board made up of community stakeholders, donors, and partners. All told, Raitza’s impact on the profile of the college has been considerable and she will be sorely missed. It has been a pleasure working with Raitza during my tenure and I wish her all the best.
