[Coehd] ITC facilitating Smithsonian Affiliations Symposium simulcast, Nov. 15 & 16 - Puerto Rican and Caribbean Diaspora

Good afternoon everyone, Please see the below email from the Institute of Texan Cultures about an upcoming event livestream. Please share with others that may be interested. Thank you! ________________________________ Nov. 15 and 16, the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures will facilitate the local participation in “Dialogues Across the Puerto Rican and Caribbean Diaspora,” which we will livestream at the ITC auditorium. Smithsonian Affiliations, the Museo y Centro de Estudios Humanísticos (MCEH-JCN) and the Conservatorio de Músico will bring U. S.-based scholars of Puerto Rican and Latino Studies, and other Caribbean scholars to Puerto Rico to engage in exchanges with Puerto Rico Island-based scholars about migration, music, art, literature, education, history, and diasporic experiences. This symposium received Federal support from the Latino Initiatives Pool, administered by the Smithsonian Latino Center.
