[Coehd] Update on Lighting Issues at Downtown Campus

Dear COEHD Faculty and Staff, Please see the message below from Josh Gerken, UT San Antonio Associate Vice President, Assets Management, regarding lighting concerns at the Downtown Campus. — The Downtown Facilities Team has been working to address this. We found some issues in the underground power loop feeding the lights, that to my knowledge have now been completed. There was an issue with the lights in the garage are that were on a different timer schedule (for reasons unknown) that have now been adjusted to an earlier time. Unfortunately, around the garage and the ramps are going to take a little longer to restore higher light levels to this area. As a part of the structural repair for the downtown garage, we had to remove the old canopy. That canopy had lighting on it that used to illuminate these areas more. As a part of the project, we are going to add additional wall pack lights to get better coverage of light at night time. That will take a little for the completion of this project.
