[Coehd] Mentored Research Career Development Program

Sent on behalf of the San Antonio Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center The Pepper Center is soliciting RL5 Scholar applications for the Mentored Research Career Development Program. SA OAIC will have one or two new 12 month mentored research RL5 Scholar positions with a potential for 24 months of support contingent upon the successful renewal of the SA OAIC award. Position(s) available beginning May 2019 or soon thereafter. Applications for these NIH funded positions are dueFebruary 25, 2019 at 11:59 PM. Application instructions and forms are available at this link: Note about eligibility & research focus: The RL5 program targets early career faculty who have a professional doctoral degree or individuals who are completing postdoctoral training with an impending academic appointment. Early career faculty from diverse groups including physicians, epidemiologists, behavioral scientists, biostatisticians, pharmacologists, dentists, nurses, psychologists, engineers, and others are sought for a training program in mentored research.
