Good morning!
We are delighted to announce the 3rd round of Innovations Grant funding! Proposals are due
12/1/2015.
The NCAA will award $100,000 in grants for the 2016 calendar year to support research and
data-driven pilot programs designed to enhance student-athlete psychosocial well-being and
mental health. Topics funded by the NCAA Innovations in Research and Practice Grant
Program may include, but are not limited to, managing transitions, identity development,
stress management, substance use, bystander intervention, cultivating healthy
relationships, career exploration and sport exit strategies.
Grant recipients will present their work to hundreds of key stakeholders in
intercollegiate athletics in January 2017 at the NCAA Convention in Nashville, TN.
Proposals will be judged in part on their potential to result in campus-level programming
that can positively impact the well-being of NCAA student-athletes. Attached you will find
