30 June 2021 Dear COEHD Researchers—Faculty, Ph.D., M.A. Graduate Students, and School-based Leadership and Instructors, On behalf of SIG 11 Research in Reading and Literacy and our Consortia Members (International Consortium, College Reading Consortium, ESL Consortium), we invite you to submit a proposal to the forthcoming AERA Conference in San Diego, APRIL 22-25, 2022. The Deadline for submitting a proposal for the AERA Conference is MONDAY, JULY 12, 2021. We welcome Symposia, Paper Sessions, Roundtables, and Posters that represent your research, reviews of past research, calls for new research needed in a given field of study, dialogues, debates, discussions of pressing issues in educational and literacy research. We welcome innovative, cross-disciplinary inquiry, historical reviews, and theoretical and applied studies. Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century is the theme, although your proposal need not focus on this theme. Please review further information forwarded to membership of AERA (below). We take this opportunity to remind you to renew your AERA membership and membership to the SIG as the number of slots we are provided depends on numbers of members.
