COEHD alumna named NISD First Year Educator of the Year
Northside Independent School District (NISD) recently named Lorena Sandoval, a COEHD
alumna, as the 2013-2014 First Year Educator of the Year during their annual district-wide
awards ceremony.
ELPS doctoral student accepted into summer scholar program
Elisabeth Krimbill, doctoral student in the College of Education and Human Development and
assistant principal at Barbara Bush Middle School in North East Independent School
District (NEISD), was accepted into the 2014 Public School Research Scholar's
Program.
COEHD students receive University Life Awards
Pamela Bejarano and Adolph 'A.J.' Delgado were named the Outstanding Undergraduate
and Graduate student, respectively, for the College of Education and Human Development
during the 38th annual University Life Awards.
