The Policy Studies Center is hosting its first statewide Latino Policy Symposium to
address public policies that contribute to the well-being of Latino families. This
working summit provides an opportunity for public agencies, non-profits to review the
impact of local and state policies targeting education, labor/employment/housing, and
health and human services. While Latino advocates have made achievements in areas, there
is still a need to invest in schools, increase jobs and wages, increase homeownership, and
improve health and neighborhood environments to help strengthen Latino families and
provide pathways to economic mobility.
May 4-5, UTSA Downtown Campus
Participation is limited
