Dear COEHD community, as you are aware there are rapid changes happening in regards to
federal policy, including the freeze on loans, grants, and other aid. We as a college are
unsure of the implications or practicality of this, or how it will affect us (grants,
loans, etc.), but did want to ensure you that we are aware of and keeping an eye on
things. We are awaiting guidance from the university, system, and federal funding
agencies. In the meantime, the VPR/Office of Research has put together this folder (see
below) that they are keeping updated with federal research policy updates – it should be
accessible to anyone with a UTSA account (if it says you need to request access, this is
normal, please do so and they should approve rather quickly). Please reach out with
questions or if you’d like to talk through anything, and please send me any relevant
updates.
Thank you,
Emily
