The National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program (Noyce) is calling for proposals to address the urgent need for recruiting, preparing, and retaining highly effective mathematics and science teachers who will make a lasting impact in high-need Local Education Agencies (LEA), also known as high-need school districts. Noyce is dedicated to supporting talented undergraduate STEM majors and professionals in their journey to become exceptional K-12 STEM teachers. NSF believes in empowering experienced STEM teachers to become influential leaders who will continue teaching in high-need school districts. By participating in this program, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the full spectrum of diverse talent in STEM. Furthermore, Noyce provides funding for research that focuses on the effectiveness and retention of K-12 STEM teachers in high-need school districts. NSF offers four program tracks: * Track 1: The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarships and Stipends (S&S) Track: This track provides scholarships and stipends to support aspiring STEM teachers. * Track 2: The NSF Teaching Fellowships (TF) Track: This track offers fellowships to experienced STEM teachers who wish to enhance their teaching skills and become influential teacher leaders. * Track 3: The NSF Master Teaching Fellowships (MTF) Track: This track supports exemplary K-12 STEM teachers who aspire to become master teachers and make a significant impact in their classrooms. * Track 4: The Noyce Research Track: This track supports researchers who are dedicated to investigating the effectiveness and retention of K-12 STEM teachers in high-need school districts. * Track 5: Capacity Building proposals that encourage conference proposals that focus on improving STEM teacher preparation as well as proposals that support authentic Research Experiences in STEM Settings (RESS) for both Noyce and non-Noyce pre-service and in-service STEM teachers. Consider submitting a proposal to make a difference in the lives of students and contribute to the advancement of STEM education in high-need school districts through Noyce.
