UJIMA Awards The UJIMA Awards will be given to students whose leadership actions best match the UJIMA principles of Collective Work and Responsibility. This award recognizes the student who best applies these principles to enhance the experience of African American and Black students during their matriculation at UTSA. The Awards are presented to the African American or Black students who best serve UTSA as leaders of an organization or event, maintain a Good Academic Standing and exemplify a positive character and encouraging attitude. We believe that every student should have access to exceptional opportunities that allow them to rise to their full educational and professional potential. The GLBTQ Scholarship is one of the ways that we support student groups on campus. To be eligible for a GLBTQ Scholarship you must meet the following criteria: * Current undergraduates must be enrolled on a full-time basis (at least 12 hours) or current graduate students must be enrolled in at least six hours. * Undergraduate and Graduate students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. * Recipients must be active members of Spectrum, the GLBTQ student organization * Recipients must be in good disciplinary standing with the university If you know any students who meet the above criteria, please encourage them to apply for the Scholarship!
