In exceptional fashion, Dr. Flores has served COEHD and the university for many years and has played a pivotal leadership role in spearheading innovations that have resulted in lasting benefits for the college that include among other accomplishments program development, enhanced clinical teacher preparation, and robust school district-university partnerships. Personally, it has been a joy to work closely with Dr. Flores, to benefit from her wisdom and candor on issues and problems, and seeing her commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally-efficacious climate for our faculty, staff, students, and our external stakeholders realized through her words and actions.
