| ALL COEHD
We are proud of the accomplishments of COEHD faculty, students, and staff, but
unfortunately we cannot write a full-feature article on every award or achievement that
takes place. We would still like for everyone to know about these accomplishments so we
have added a section to the weekly COEHDnews for Awards, Announcements and Recognition. If
you know of someone in the college that deserves recognition please forward:the
individuals name, department, what the honor was, and organization that gave the award.

(TPR NEWS) - A middle school in the South San Antonio Independent School District will
have to hire a completely new team of teachers, after it failed to meet state standards
for more than two years. South San’s Dwight Middle School has had an ‘Improvement
Required’ rating from the Texas Education Agency for two years and now has to go through a
formal reconstitution process. While that term means something different for each school,
South San District Communications Director, Ed Suarez, said for Dwight that meant that all
33 teachers, the Principal, and the Vice Principal, would be let go.
