COEHD to host student resource
fairs<http://education.utsa.edu/spotlight/article/coehd_to_host_studen...

The College of Education and Human Development will host two resource fairs at both UTSA
campuses this fall. The Main Campus Student Resource Fair will take place on Wednesday,
August 22 from 3 to 6 p.m. and the Downtown Campus Student Resource Fair will take place
Thursday, August 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. The fairs are free and open to all COEHD students,
and will feature an interactive scavenger hunt. Student participants will receive food and
prizes (while supplies last) and have the chance to win 1 of 5 iPad Minis. For more
information, contact education(a)utsa.edu.

Researchers estimate higher death toll from Hurricane Maria than previously

20, 2017 -- may be as high as 1,139, surpassing the official death count of 64, according
to researchers.

Construction near SU Roundabout Aug 6 -

Work to move part of the sidewalk north of the Student Union (SU) roundabout closer to the
fire hydrant, as required by state and local fire codes, will begin on August 6, 2018 and
end on August 17, 2018. Roads will remain open. However, construction traffic may cause
delays. For additional information, reference the attached map or contact the Facilities
Service Center at 458-4262.
UTSA 2018 Football Parking at
ITC<http://education.utsa.edu/awards_announcements/article/utsa_2018_f...
The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures has a limited amount of parking available for the
UTSA Football Season and is offering a package for all six home games at $120. The parking
package is now on sale by calling 210-458-2259, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The parking package includes a unique tag for each UTSA home game at the Alamodome.
Parking passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. UTSA parking hang-tags
are not honored on football game days. Tailgating and open containers are not allowed on
the UTSA property. For questions and additional information call 210-458-2259.
