Dear Colleagues, I am writing to let you know of the passing on of Jerome Bruner at the age of 100. He was a renaissance scholar, with books and articles broadly conceived on the psychology of human development, creativity, culture and education, writing, and more, on the faculty at the New School for Social Research in New York City. His intellectual breadth and energy incorporated philosophy and historical perspective. He was a member of many distinguished societies including the National Academy of Education. We have lost a giant who made his mark on so many fields of study. He will be missed by many.
