The COEHD was well represented at Basura Bash last Saturday! Eight UTSA graduate students and two faculty worked alongside volunteers from Wells Fargo and Standard Aero to clean Leon Creek from Hausmann Road to Babcock Road. Several thousand volunteers gathered in various areas in the San Antonio River Watershed, from the our area as the northern most spot down to the Missions all at the same time to clean out the waterways. Attached is a picture of our group and one picture of me to show - yes, I did it! The site organizer of our area was very pleased to have our group from UTSA and hopes that we will make it an annual event!
