Jo Ann began her career at UTSA in the College of Education and Human Development in May 2013 as a Communications Specialist. Jo Ann was a jack of all trades (developing news articles/featured stories, editor, photographer, advertisement, social media, and special events coordinator). She transitioned to her role as Student Development Specialist (SDS) in 2019 and found a true calling working with students. From the beginning of her SDS role, Jo Ann continuously gave 100% of herself to the students and faculty she worked with. She is one of the most organized, thoughtful, and dedicated people I know. We wish Jo Ann continued success at UTSA in her new role as a Retention and Graduation Coordinator with the Graduate School. I know I speak for everyone that it has been an absolute joy working with Jo Ann and wish her all the best as she begins a new chapter.
