Hello everyone, I offer extra credit if my students include the signed form that shows
they went to the writing lab with their research papers. The workshops count too.

I really urge faculty to refer students to these workshops-we often talk about the need
for our graduate students to improve their writing-particularly when it comes to the
dissertation! Unless students understand that they have a need for such things, they are
often completely shocked when we require them to do multiple edits on their work. These
workshops could save everyone a great deal of time and effort!
Thanks,
Betty
