Dear Jerry, I made my semi-monthly pilgrimage to Austin this morning, banged my head against the Texas Education Agency wall, and came away with nothing but a headache. I have too little time left to spend it arguing with bureaucrats or jumping through hoops to send them useless data. There must be a bike shop somewhere that needs a part-time mechanic. A kid on two wheels would at least be evidence my work mattered.
