Dear COEHD faculty, please help announce the following three programs to your students.
To date, UTSA has sent 14 students on the TaLK/EPIK Programs and many of them are still
teaching in Korea. UTSA and the Korean government signed a TaLK MOU in 2012.

Teach and Learn in Korea (TaLK) Scholarship:for students that have finished at least two
years of college to teach English in Korea (15 hours/week; 6 month-12 month contract)

English Program in Korea (EPIK) Fellowship:for people with a bachelor's degree
certified to teach English in Korea (yearly contract only)

Both programs pay for round trip airfare, free housing in Korea, and health insurance. In
addition, TaLK Scholars receive a monthly stipend of $1,400 and the EPIK Fellows receive a
monthly stipend of $1,700-$2,600 depending on the experience. Email Mimi Yu at
