Could you please share this request (below) with the staff and/or faculty in your areas? We would like volunteers from every area to assist with these special days for our students! Please note that the first ceremony is now full, but we still need assistance with the Saturday afternoon ceremony and the Sunday ceremony. Thank you!

The Registrar’s Graduation Coordination Office (GCO) is calling for volunteers to work the graduate line-up before the commencement ceremonies at the Alamodome Saturday, May 13, 2017 and Sunday, May 14, 2017. The deadline to sign up for volunteering is Monday, May 1, 2017.
Volunteers Times
Ceremony 1 (COLFA, COPP, UC)- Saturday, May 13 at 10:00am (Volunteer time: 7:30am-10:15am)
Ceremony 2 (CACP, COB, COE)- Saturday, May 13 at 4:00pm (Volunteer time: 1:30pm-4:15pm)
Ceremony 3 (COEHD, COS)- Sunday, May 14 at 2:00pm (Volunteer time: 11:30am-2:15pm)

We will have assigned volunteer access badges available for pick up the week before commencement. Graduation Coordination will send out confirmations along with more information to those who sign up as we get closer to the big day. Volunteer duties will include checking in students by college and directing students where to go. A shuttle will be available to pick up and return you to both the main and downtown campus from the Alamodome.

2. The ELPS “FUNdraising for Scholarships” Event, Saturday, May 20, 2017, 9 am – 11:30 am, TopGolf San Antonio. Don’t miss this opportunity for fellowship with ELPS faculty, staff, students, alums, and friends and to raise money for ELPS scholarships and leadership development.
