LAST DAY: 2018 State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC)
by Liliana Gutierrez
Dear COEHD Faculty and Staff,
Today is the last day of the SECC campaign. Have you made your pledge to SECC?
The latest campaign report is in (as of 10/29), and so far 33 out of 243 faculty and staff included in the College of Education and Human Development have made a gift, for a COEHD participation rate of 13.6%
We can still increase the participation rate for COEHD today!
You can go online to make a donation: www.utsa.edu/secc<http://www.utsa.edu/secc>. We all have a cause or charity we support, so this is the best time to donate!
The donation amount can be as small as $3.00, but it is our participation that counts. The minimum amount to give to SECC is $3 for one-time gifts by cash or check. There is no minimum amount for payroll deduction.
Silent Auction:
Today is the last day for the 2018 Silent Auction!
http://www1.utsa.edu/secc/wordpress/?page_id=51/
Remember to take the time to make your online donation at utsa.edu/secc. Gifts of any amount are welcome but what is most important is our participation.
Please show that Together We Care about our community.

T/TT Faculty Travel Funds 2018-2019
by Liliana Gutierrez
Dear Colleagues,
I hope your Fall is going well. I wanted to update you on travel: We have been working with VPAA on transitioning to the new budget model. This year, COEHD will fully fund the individual faculty travel allocation of $1,100 per T/TT faculty member.
Linyi will make the transfer to each Department. As we work this year on implementing the new IRM budget model, decisions will be made about the funding of faculty travel based on the realities of the new model.
I appreciate your patience with the process and look forward to providing updates during our December college-wide meeting.
Best,
Margo
